This is Goomporter. He’s a semi-original character I created. He’s a laid-back, polite, and friendly guy in his early/mid-20s from Goomba Village—a suburb of Toad Town. He’s been in love with the sea since he was a little goomba, and he studied for and earned his captain’s license at a fairly young age.
He’s owned a steamboat for a couple of years which he docks regularly at Toad Town Harbor, and he offers his services to anyone who needs to get just about anywhere across the sea. But although he’ll gladly brave the dangers of the deep blue, he’s a pretty nonconfrontational guy who generally prefers to avoid culturally hostile environments. Naturally, he was apprehensive when the famous Mario came asking him to ferry him to the notorious seaport known as Rogueport.
As you probably figured out by that last sentence, I call him a semi-original, because he is the result of me giving a name, face, and…well, species to the voice of the captain seen at the beginning and end of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. I’ve recently started writing a novelization of the game, and his character is expanded upon in it.
Today is Tumblr user foxune’s birthday. And Christmas is not far off. So, here’s a quick doodle I like to call Santa Nook. Enjoy.
A few weeks ago, I finally got to watch Monsters University. So I decided to draw this cute little guy, Squishy Squibbles, making his usual entrance on my Toadsona… The “OMG WHERE DAFAQ DID YOU COME FROM?!?” entrance.
Hi. I’ve tried doing this commission thing before, but I don’t think I reached out well enough before. I think I’ll try it again, especially since I’m now trying to save up for a new computer. I’ll still do commissions for people after I get the computer, of course; life will just give me another thing I’ll really wanna get in the future…
Above is a general taste of what I draw, most of it is from my Ask Koops blog. There’s stuff ranging from simple doodles to vectored characters to full scenes with backgrounds. My preferred payment method is paypal; just send me an ask or submission saying exactly what you’d want, and I’ll privately tell you the e-mail. I may contact you mid-progress for more information or other input.
Do note, I refuse to draw particularly violent or gory things, and I discourage nudity content—flat out refusing if we’re not especially close buddies, and even then I may or may not refuse depending on various circumstances.

Here, everyone. Have a Greenie. ^^
“Mmwha…? Oh, um, hi there… Uh, well, pretty much anything you’d wanna know about our adventure you could probably see in the game Nintendo made based off it, but…three things I loved about Mario? Well..I guess if I had to pick three, I’d go with…”
((And now it’s time for
Kuzco’sKoops’s Doodles! XD Man, these are too fun!))
“…his courage, for one. No matter how daunting the challenge, he never backed down if for the sake of the greater good. He’s a guy who’s willing to fight through dragons, robots, aliens, and demons, all to protect the ones he loves; it’s really inspiring. Of course, that courage goes hand-in-hand with…”
“…his optimism. Even when things looked bleak to me or the others, he always knew just how to look at the bright side of things and hope for the best outcome if we just strove for it. It’s that optimism, I believe, that helps make him as courageous as he is, but the thing that obviously motivates it the most is…”
“…his kindness. There’s no denying he’s a very kind man. No matter what, he’s always more than willing to help you out if you’ve got a problem or pick you up if you’re feeling down. It showed in every good deed he performed along the way through our adventure, and he never did it for the glory or for any reward (though he often got one anyway), but just for the sake of lending a helping hand.”
“If I had to sum that all up, I’d basically say that what I love most about Mario are the things that make him genuinely a true hero and an inspiration for what I want to be more like in my life. I owe that man so much; countless people do.”
It’s Gloria's birthday, kiddies. So here. Have Donkey Kong driving around in a “fancy” car and stuff. :B
I recently beat Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, and so I threw this together. This is an actual game location with an actual game character and is based off of an actual thing you can do with the help of said actual character.
